13th June 2016 Unst SE2 Clear

The southeasterly wind finally delivered a pleasing find in the form of a Marsh Warbler very occasionally singing that unfortunately proved extremely elusive in a dense rose bush but showed better this evening. Two Reed Warblers were also heard singing on the island today.






Marsh Warbler at Norwick
Nicely yellow-washed underparts, clean flanks and greyish-brown upperparts. Pale legs with yellowish feet with pale claws. Long primary projection.
